Valentines Getaway...Amsterdam

Valentines weekend is the perfect weekend to take a city trip with your significant other. Love is in the air and blah, blah, blah..... Anyway's Paris is the main destination for a Valentines weekend city break but I have selected two other European cities that may not feature on the of the romantic getaways list.

Amsterdam is a beautiful city for a short weekend together. From romantic bike-rides though the city to walking hand in hand along the canals, Amsterdam is just the perfect destination for a romantic getaway as it is so compact and easy to get around. The buildings are beautiful and you are nearly guaranteed to have some beautiful spring sunshine even if there may still be a chill in the air.
