Spring Styling...Jumpsuits

The Jump Off

Jumpsuits or play suits have fast become a Spring/Summer staple. They first reappeared a few years back now and have been wholly embraced by us ever since. During summer I love to wear pretty dresses but the fear of a breeze blowing my lightweight dress up around my ears terrify's me. Thats why I love play suits, they often look like a dress but they are shorts and you have the comfort of knowing that you are not going to end up flashing your knickers or worse your lady-bits(unless you want them to of course!). Here are some of my faves. This hot pink one (above) is by Halston Heritage and I am absolutely mad about it! I can't stop thinking about it!

Floppy Hats...

Floppy hats are having a moment and I have to say I love this trend for Spring Summer. Big hats are so cute and I have to admit I feel like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys when wearing one. Which is always good! I think they look best with jeans or a cute dress, Boho chic is the look you are aiming for here don't overdo it though.

David Koma for Topshop...

We all sat up and took notice of David Koma last year when the beautiful Beyonce wore one of his dresses quickly followed on XFactor by Cheryl Cole. Well, Topshop on the button as usual, are launching a collection with him. There is major confusion around the release dates. It went into stores last week, many different dates for its online release have been published. Low and behold, three pieces popped up on the website today. Prices for this collection are STEEP. There are only 30 pieces of each piece available and prices range from £100 (for a belt) - £350 (amazing backless dress). As usual the only piece I like is the £350 dress. Damn you expensive taste
