Loving: Hello Kitty Air, Eva Air

Omg how cute is this airline? Taiwanese airline Eva Air has collaborated with Hello Kitty to makeover three of their planes.  These will only fly Asian routes, where Hello Kitty is hugely popular.  So popular in fact that she is actually an Ambassador for Japanese tourism.  That is a great feat for someone who weighs 3 apples and only stands 5 apples tall!

I love how they have totally themed these planes, that everything has been given a Hello Kitty makeover, even the food and headrests! And I just love those check in kiosks!

I think this is such a fun idea and a great marketing concept, can you imagine how many teenage Asian girls are going to want to fly with this airline now.  I know I do!

My latest purchases from ASOS this weekend. Sunday was so summery it made me want to buy some summer outfits. They won't be here until next Tuesday but I cannot wait to pair the dress with some pretty tan sandals and the playsuit with some heels for a night out.

Check out Olivia Palermo at Topshop Uniques recent show. Rocking a Topshop bright yellow top and tropical print slim trousers with an Emporio Armani jacket, Mulberry pumps and Meli Melo bag. Olivia has schooled us in how to wear print trousers and makes them look super elegant. I will definitely be taking a leaf out of her book and pairing mine with simple basics.

Ryan Gosling, Mr Perfect?

Has anyone seen this video of Ryan Gosling performing at Carvens show?
I have never heard him perform with his band Dead Man's Bones before but he sounds pretty awesome. I have to say the name totally suits the band as there is something so haunting about this song, but its pretty amazing! Not only is he SUPER HOT but he sings, plays piano, knows how to dance, breaks up street fights, owns a restaurant, has an AH-MAZ-ING body, and has a great sense of humour. I think Mr. Gosling is quite possibly Mr. Perfect!

Omg how romantic is this shoot? I love the Mad Men/50's glamour of this shoot, shot in Tuilieres Park in Paris this weekend. They are such a beautiful couple. I love the simplicity of the outfits and the sheer attention to detail. A sharp fit lends itself to the overall polished look. Very Parisian and very chic! Is Olivia our modern day Audrey? I think so. I am crazy about her Charlotte Olympia shoes. I have been craving a pair for a long time now, they are definitely on my must have list.

Loving...Veuve Clicquot Rose

Omg how cute is this? I am just in love with this cute pink fridge that comes with this bottle of yummy Veuve Clicquot Rose Champagne. Imagine getting this as a lovely rose-mantic pressie! To top it all off the fridge keeps the bottle cool for an hour so you can take it on lovely romantic picnics. I really want this (HINT!!)

I Could Have Spread my Wings and Done a Thousand Things I've Never Done Before...

Did we all have a nice weekend?? I had such a fun/lazy one. I got to enjoy the brilliant Ireland v England rugby on Saturday. Yesterday was the purr-fect Sunday. Starting out with a yummy late french toast brekkie at a cute little restaurant and a long walk on the beach, followed by watching My Fair Lady and a trip to the cinema last night to finally see the brilliant The Kings Speech.

Anyhu here is a cute little post on the beautiful Dree Hemingway. I love her, she is so natural and fun loving. There is something so bewitching about her.

Floppy Hats...

Floppy hats are having a moment and I have to say I love this trend for Spring Summer. Big hats are so cute and I have to admit I feel like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys when wearing one. Which is always good! I think they look best with jeans or a cute dress, Boho chic is the look you are aiming for here don't overdo it though.

What to Wear to an Interview....

For those job hunters lucky enough to get called to interview it can be an absolute crisis trying to find something to wear. Below is a little Polyvore that I done up of pieces and outfits that I would wear to an interview. Obviously it depends on which industry you are going into, if I was going for a business interview and I wanted to be taken seriously I would wear a suit. But if I was going for a fashion industry interview I think it is okay to let your general style and personality come across. Dress the same way as you would dress every day at work.

Sometimes it is just easier (and less stressful) to pick a dress, but there are some rules to bear in mind. Rule number 1 being, nothing above your knee. Sitting on top of your knee is fine but girls mid thigh is just not a good daytime look! Number 2, I would go for a no cleavage approach and would probably wear 3/4 length sleeves too. Really this is just to keep it professional.

When it comes to shoes DO NOT wear open toe shoes. Closed toe are the only ones you should be wearing. Do not be tempted to wear your highest heels. A simple court shoe or ankle boot will generally suffice. If you normally wear flats then wear flats! I like these floral heels though because they do add a bit of personality to your outfit (fashion jobs only!).

I think it is okay to wear a fitted denim or check shirt to an interview, if you have a beautiful peachy well fitting blazer to go over 'em. Pair em up with black skinny trousers or some skinny cargo trousers and you have a cute, professional on-trend interview look!
