To the Max...
Now that summer is here it is time to whip out this seasons staple, the maxi. Generally when a trend goes as mainstream as this one, I tend to avoid it like the plague. Walk down any street these days and you will see at least 10 lovely ladies in their maxi's. I do love a pretty dress though, and lets be honest who doesn't feel like a princess wearing a long dress during the day, you definitely get the feeling of days gone by glamour. Last weekend I stepped out in two lovely maxi dresses, one to a party, and another to go out to breakfast the following morning. I am now hooked, I have never felt so unbelievably feminine in flats before! They are definitley a head turner, and who doesn't love to turn heads when you know you have just simply thrown something on! Here are some of my favourites for this summer, I love the Seneca Rising dresses, which in my opinion just capture the whole effortless, relaxed feel which comes with wearing a maxi dress...

My Hareem...
Hey guys, sorry I totally disappeared off the blogosphere over the past few weeks. My regular readers will know why! Anyhu I will fingers crossed officially be healed next week and will be out of this horrible contraption that I am currently in! My thoughts have turned to outfits I will be able to wear again! I have been really feeling hareem pants and I nearly passed out when I saw this picture of Gwen Stefani (the middle pic!) in this months Glamour. How cool does she look? I will definitely be taking hareem inspiration from her this summer. I couldn't find the picture on its own but when I was googling away this image from lala for fashion came up. Gwen totally rocks the hareem look and this is definitely the way to do it, always with heels! Unless you are a super-tall super-thin supermodel! Definitely go for hareem pants with a bit more structure, Topshop have some great styles. Or if you want to do a more sporty look, go with jersey. (",)_SequinsandBangles_xx

STYLE Magazine

I love nothing more on a Sunday morning than to curl up and read the Sunday papers! Every Sunday my Dad leaves Style magazine that comes with the Sunday Times sitting on the kitchen table for me! If I'm being honest this is the section I really read, along with Home and Travel! The Irish Times have by far the best fashion supplements out of any paper. They are just as good as Vogue or Elle in my opinion. I love this section by Natalie Hartley called Your Style! It is photographed by Jackie Dixon of ShowMeYourWardrobe.blogspot.com. Maybe this is why it reminds me of Elle magazine! Anyhu I love the idea of nudes for spring! I can't wait to get a pair of nude shorts like Natalie is wearing in Go Girlie! What do you guys think of nudes for spring?
